Laura McDiarmid

My name is Laura McDiarmid and I am a freshmen at Ithaca College studying Health Care Management. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to work with professionals at the Cleveland Clinic on program development, video production, and marketing, all of which are experiences that I value and have steered me towards a career in Health Care. I have also done a considerable amount of work with grassroots nonprofit organizations, serving on the planning committed for Emily's Rainbow Run and Family Walk in Westlake, OH. Some of my duties included solicitation of sponsorships, publicity, public speaking, fundraising, and community outreach. I plan on graduating from Ithaca College in 2019 with a Bachelors in Health Care Management and minors in Business and Economics. After undergraduate, I hope to continue to graduate school to pursue a Masters in Healthcare Administration or a Masters in Public Administration in order to better qualify myself to enter a management position in healthcare, one of this country's fastest growing industries.
