Beach Volleyball at Stevenson University

This past spring, I was on the first NCAA Division III school beach volleyball team. We train, practice and condition for two hours, five times a week to prepare for competition. For such competition, we travel to places such as Florida and North Carolina to compete with NCAA Division I and II schools.

We spend over two hours every weekday night, training and practicing to be mentally and physically prepared for competition. We also meet with a strength and conditioning coach twice a week in order to develop physical abilities and enhance athletic performance. We travel to and host tournaments and games during the week and almost every weekend to compete and advance our ranking within our conference.

Office Assistant and Gym Monitor at Stevenson University Athletic Department

I Facilitate and monitor the recreational use of Stevenson University’s gym while a Gym Monitor. While an Office Assistant, I greet and direct visitors to their intended destinations as well as perform administrative activities such as filing and organizing paperwork. In addition, I organize equipment and maintain a well-run front area and support the directors of the department by completing any necessary tasks.

I organize and transfer the new shipments onto displays, return clothes to their original displays, and process and organize the clothes from the fitting room to be returned to their original areas. I also work on the register, facilitating the transaction between customers and the company while promoting sales and benefits.
