Lilyanne Phillips

In December of 2016, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Jacksonville State University. Jacksonville State University's program has provided me with practical, hands-on experience within the graphics industry. My strong attention to detail and motivated work ethic to go above usual standards are the skills I use in the workplace. By majoring in this field I have learned multiple skills in the Adobe Creative Suite software as well as printing techniques. At an early age, I enjoyed taking art classes and loved to learn about new artists and their techniques. When I entered into high school, I continued this passion with multiple art classes that required me to work with my hands and problem solving methods. When I entered into college, I was an undecided major, but was encouraged to keep art in mind. I began looking at different majors in the art department and when I came across graphic design, I knew I found my major. I could utilize my technical and creative skills I loved into the workplace everyday. Devoting time and energy into people is also very critical to who I am. I would love to work in a position where I build relationships that last. I hope to use my interactive skills to resolve unique, everyday challenges. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved. Helen Keller
