Internship at Luum Textiles
My responsibilities at Luum Textiles are to help around the showroom and shadow the representative. This included visiting architecture firms around Chicago for presentations of the product, sorting materials, learning about different textiles and their uses, as well as placing orders and organizing paperwork and textiles.

Internship at Karen Garlanger Designs
Karen Garlanger is a successful residential designer/architect in Saint Joseph, Michigan. As an intern, my responsibilities are to learn about the business and assist Karen in her projects. I visit construction sites, take measurements, observe client meetings, pull palettes for projects, create master tracking files for client orders, and make renderings using SketchUp and Rhinoceros. The internship allows me to understand the process of owning a business and working with clients.
