February, 04 2019 - Susquehanna UniversityI help to communicate with other math tutors to set up meetings and relay information.
I work with students on campus in need of help with any of their mathematics classes. We work on a variety of subjects from calculus to statistics and anything else in between.
As a camp counselor, I worked with high school students on projects involving math and physics throughout the week. Aside from transporting students from place to place to work on projects, I also offered guidance in the projects and supervised for safety purposes.
I spent a week training to give incoming students a tour of SU. Then I got to take students around campus while telling them about different activities, traditions, and academic life on campus.
I work with students at a nearby high school who need help with mathematics. The difficulty can range anywhere from pre-algebra to calculus.
During the Summer, I work with children, ranging from 1st-8th grade, in a musical. I help the kids learn lines, dances, and song lyrics and I also work the technology for the audio parts of the show.
