Marian Pollock

I am a driven student of International Business, Management and Modern French Language. I have goal based aspirations of working and succeeding in diverse working environments even if they do not necessarily relate to my prospective career field. I learn something new and valuable in each position. I achieve the most when working in teams or individually, and the best form of recognition is seeing the success of my team and my own efforts. A position in which I worked individually was for Laurens Central School as a Computer Technician. I reported to my supervisor for an overview of tasks that needed to be completed, but it was left to my discretion in what order they should be completed and how much time to spend on each task. I also thrive in working with a team. As a Barista at Gimme! Coffee, teamwork between persons on the job is essential in delivering accurate, high quality, and fast service to our customers. I work alongside my supervisor, where the distribution of work is even and we communicate quickly and concisely to ensure each task is completed in the right order.
