Primary point of contact for team of 10+ volunteers. Assure that confidentiality statement was upheld by all volunteers. Perform orientation for new volunteers, including evaluation, opening/closing procedures, library check out procedures, scheduling, etc. Planned the first event in which the Program collaborated with the Center For Multicultural Student Services: Through the Eyes of An Activist- Gay Rights vs. Civil Rights. (Over 300 people attended) Serve on university's interdepartmental LGBTA Advisory Board and recorded meeting minutes. Represent Program at tabling events. Assist in upkeep of library materials. Coordinate checkout procedure and maintenance of 1000+ books and other resources. Coordinate and facilitated the second annual volunteer retreat. Assist visitors in use of library resources. Currently working on creating a new volunteer structure.
