Meagan Lawton

Since I started school at Kent State University, I have been trying to find my passion. First it was video production, then writing, then 3D modeling and animation, then web development and computer technology. However, I didnt replace one interest with the next, I just kept adding them together. The final result? A bachelors degree in Electronic Media Production, an associates degree in Computer Animation and Game Design, and another associates degree in Computer Technology with a focus on Internet and Multimedia Technology. On top of my coursework, I have two jobs: one as a Kent State Writing Commons tutor, and the other as a video production crew member for TeleProductions. Now in my final year of college, I have been searching for the perfect career to help me combine my variety of interests and experiences. My answer came when a co-worker suggested the field of e-learning. Since then Ive been doing a lot of research and soul-searching. In the process Ive discovered that Im passionate about learning, technology and helping others three things Ive enjoyed my entire life. Its funny how your answers are always right in front of you.
