- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students in four different kindergarten classrooms - Assist students in learning letters, sounds, and site words through interactive and engaging tactics such as flashcards and hand-writing practice - Serve as a positive and supportive presence in the lives of students and creating a comfortable space for effective learning

- Maintain the DSS email by corresponding with faculty, staff, and students who have inquiries or requests for assistance - Manage and fulfilling student requests for alternative textbook formats, alternative testing, and any other accommodations via PLU's Accessible Learning online platform - Proctor exams for students with alternative testing accommodations - Create a friendly, comfortable, and supportive environment for students who enter the DSS office

At the start of fall 2017, I began working for the Wang Center for Global Education , PLU's hub for all things study away - as a Social Media & Content Assistant. As a Social Media & Content Assistant, I am responsible for: - Managing and maintaining the Wang Center's Facebook and Instagram accounts - Generating, editing, publishing, and sharing regular social media content that builds meaningful connections and engages the PLU community in discussions and events relevant to global education - Assisting in the online promotion of Wang Center events and global education initiatives
