Zina Briner

Majoring in Biology, Minoring in Chemistry
Fayetteville State University, Class of 2018
From Spring Lake, NC
The world of science has always been of great interest to me. I can remember very early on as a youth wondering about how the human body processes worked and having the desire to become more involved in the study of science on several different levels. Determination and commitment to lifelong learning are key motivators. I believe FSU has attributed to building a confident professionally motivated woman of color. The nurturing academic environment not only supports personal growth, but is also is designed to encourage success as it allows each individual to reach for the stars.
