Anti-Bribery Review: -Policies set forth in conjunction with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act to prohibit the making of unlawful payments, or providing anything of value, to gain an advantage in business -On a quarterly basis, Syracuse Finance reviews from corporate, disbursement and T&E selections by validating the event took place through supplemental documentation i.e. purchase orders, invoices, receipts, etc. Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) 404 Compliance: -Ensure effectiveness of established internal controls and procedures for financial reporting by documenting, testing, and maintaining internal controls and procedures -Review corporate internal controls with Finance department personnel at the Syracuse site to determine applicable internal controls to be tested -Obtain internal control test plans, conduct testing and consolidate relevant documentation to submit as evidence of appropriate internal control implementation Account Reconciliations: -Reconcile various balance sheet accounts throughout the year and provide necessary back-up documentation to support reconciliations -Accounts are reconciled throughout the year dependent upon assessed risk placed on each individual account Financial Analysis: -Under direction of the Finance Manager, provide assistance with financial analysis dealing with cost centers, profit centers, & general ledger accounts using SAP software
