Assistant to the Project Manager at Sequoia Construction
I worked directly with Mr. McCloud at Mission Park in Mission Hill, Mass. where we ripped up and then reconstructed the existing roadways and sidewalks for low-income housing. The culdesac rested on top of a thousand-space parking garage, therefore, detail to the type of material to maintain proper loading on top of the garage was imperative. Here, we also installed a playground that includes water features, where we needed to break through the ceiling of the garage to install drainage. I helped keep track of expenses, shipping, and updated the schedule of values due to completion of the project. I was also able to work closely in preparing a $300,000+ bid for a project in Framingham, Mass. I also helped complete the schedule of values for a project in Roslindale Square, in Boston. The firm revitalized the park with new walkways, lighting, and sprinkler systems.
