Richard Bird

Richard Bird is founder and president of R.BIRD & Company, Inc., a brand identity consulting firm with more than 30 years of experience in Brand & Packaging Design, Product Innovation and Corporate Communications. Its clients are strategy-minded brands and organizations, large and small, around the corner and across the globe. Richard Bird has more than three decades of learning and experience in art history, fine arts, communication arts, journalism and design management. Mr. Bird built his career on a foundation of liberal arts with a bachelors degree in Studio Art from State University of New York where he studied Art History, Theatre, Journalism and Computer Sciences. Mr. Bird started his professional life as a radio news reporter, music radio announcer, freelance illustrator, photo retoucher and advertising agency creative director. R.BIRD was established in 1983 on the belief that creative talent, technical expertise and insightful management were basic requirements. Mr. Bird continues to play an active, hands-on role in the firm's design consulting, project management, and strategic planning activities. Richard Bird has served on the board of directors of the International Package Design Council, the AIGA Brand Design Association and has taught design technologies as an adjunct university professor. Richard Bird is an educated, intelligent and creative individual who can deliver high-level analytic and planning work. He is a capable problem solver and a source of interesting and valuable ideas.
