Rebecca Logue

I am a devoted student pursuing a Bachelor of Communication and a minor in Spanish. I have extensive experience in customer relations, office administration, mentoring, writing, and editing. I am eager to develop into a high-energy communications professional with an infectious enthusiasm for my field, and to spearhead the long-term success of a Communication department or agency. My position as an intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay was one of my most positive and self-assuring experiences. Interning with the Community Relations team in their Boston office taught me about their imperative need for hard skills like writing, web programming, and language proficiency. I also witnessed how great teamwork and diverse perspectives are measurable components to satisfaction and accomplishing tasks in one's work. My opportunities with Big Brothers Big Sisters allowed me to leverage my creativity and community relations skills, and add some value to their progressive organization. I know what I learned will contribute to my future in the nonprofit sector or the corporate world. Some principles I value most in my life are creativity, diversity, and friendship. My past work as an onstage performer has highly benefited my confidence and skills in engaging audiences and team members. In addition, these values motivate me to someday live and volunteer abroad, and exercise a life-long love of learning and appreciating natural beauty through travel. As I continue my undergraduate studies, I am looking ahead to applying my knowledge for propelling positive changes forward in the world.
