Raffaele Nicoletta a Anthropology major, was named to the Dean's List in Ithaca College's School of Humanities and Sciences for the spring 2017 semester.
July, 28 2017 - Verified by Ithaca CollegeAs the only member of this pilot program at the Harvard Semitic Museum, I was tasked with editing stories for children. I made these stories more conversational as I used my knowledge in Anthropology I gained at Ithaca College as well as family interaction I gained in volunteering at assisted living homes. I used realistic items to show the families how a certain culture practices their beliefs and customs. I also helped families in activities and informed them on the background of the subject. The time spent on preparation for a reading and activity day showed through my success on the actual days where the two events took place.
This was an internship for the Harvard Museums of Science and Cultures that lasted from May 23 to August 13.
