Sahana Callahan

As someone interested in achieving global understandings, much of my undertakings in the professional world have been related to people of different backgrounds and opportunities. I am fluent in Bengali, proficient in Spanish, and understand Hindi, and am continually interested in expanding my linguistic capabilities. I am a quick and capable writer, and am highly driven when independently completing tasks assigned to me. I love collaboration, as well, having worked closely with peers throughout my academic career as well as my time in the professional world. I have worked on different projects that reached an international audience, most notably, as a part of the team planning, organizing, and coordinating a UN initiative, #InternationalYouthDay, while as a summer intern for Catholic Relief Services, a humanitarian aid organization. My primary goal is to take the skills I possess, and hone them to more extensively become a global citizen.
