Work Experience

Music Tutor at Capital University Conservatory of Music

I tutor Theory 1 and 2 and Audiation 1 and 2. I assess students' learning style and habits and get a sense what kind of difficulty they experience. From there, I just explain the process or clarify certain rules that make for a better understanding of music theory and improve audiation skills.

Intern at Conference Services

I work with the student organizations on campus as they plan events. After submitting a request to our office of Student Community and Engagement, I schedule the events in 25Live by submitting their information, which can also include contacting Capital's catering service providers, contacting other professors or directors of certain buildings to obtain clearance for scheduling a certain room, or contacting the student in charge of the organization to change the date of location if there is a room conflict. The job requires an alert mind, the ability to multi-task, and good communication and organizational skills.
