Shari Carrothers Ziebell

Provides leadership and coordination in implementing and recruitment initiatives for the location's defined recruiting area. Plays a significant role in the design and implementation of ongoing initiatives related to recruiting and retaining students. Essential Functions: •Proactively identifies and develops opportunities to promote applicable recruiting efforts •Assists the site leadership in preparing program of events and timetables for promotional events •Recruits and supervises team of student recruiters •Prepares program of events and timetables for promotional events •Plans and manages for materials needed for recruiters and promotional events •Communicates with local and regional businesses, community colleges, high schools, and other community officials related to potential student markets •Collaborates with admissions department and academic deans to ensure up-to-date information on programs and educational opportunities are collected and provided to recruiters and site leadership •Participates in community, University, and business events to maintain open working relationships to include providing presentations about Troy University •Assists, as needed, students with information related to enrollment requirements, program content and directs students to other areas of the university as necessary •Provides operational updates and reports as needed

• Organize and attend events that create awareness of Troy University in Kentucky and Tennessee • Act as a liaison between the university and community and assist students with the application process and initial registration • Organize marketing events to create awareness of the college and programs offered • Attend job, military and educational fairs annually to recruit new students • Research potential opportunities for enrollment expansion
