Sheila West

Sheila West is a native of Charleston, South Carolina, a member of the Union Heights community. Sheila attended Charleston County Public schools and matriculated to Springfield College of Springfield, Massachusetts, where Shelia obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Services and a Masters degree for Non-Profit Business Management. Ms. West has three National Certifications: Community Action Manager, Community Action Professionals (CCAP), and Result Oriented Management and Accountability Trainer (ROMA). Ms. West has worked in Human Services Industry for 30 years. The past 20 years employed with Palmetto Community Action Partnership serving in various capacities. Her current role as the Asset Building Director & DBA System Administrator. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Lambda Nu Zeta Chapter, Summerville/Ridgeville, South Carolina member and serves as 2nd Vice President of the South Carolina Association of Community Action Partnerships. Former Cooper River Constituent School Board (Chair/Vic. Chair), and serves on several other organizations and committees. When she isnt supporting her community, she spends quality time with her family to keep her balanced.
