Sarah Heitmeyer

Sarah Heitmeyer is currently an MFA candidate in the ceramic program at the State University of New York at New Paltz. She has dedicated her current research to sustainable ceramic design and production practices by working for studios such as KleinReid, Kala Stein Design, and ModCraft Tile, as well as researching innovative design solutions for the contemporary tile through CAD design and 3D printing. Since receiving her BFA from Alfred University, she completed several internships and residencies such as a post-baccalaureate program at Colorado State University, a summer residency at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center, an internship at Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and a year residency at the Genesee Center for the Arts.
