May, 25 2017 - Oklahoma City UniversityI planned and executed arts and crafts lessons for elementary school children, first through fifth grade that incorporated literacy learning. I worked closely with other coordinators who taught other core curriculum areas. I also worked with my co-workers to take the campers on field trips and execute afternoon activities that also helped campers improve their literacy. I also communicated with the camper's parents in a professional manner.
I helped run the Multicultural Center of Student Engagement at Oklahoma City, setting up for events, hanging up posters, answering phone calls, representing the resource center at various Activities Fairs throughout the school year and also at Stars101.
I assisted the site coordinator at an after school program for elementary school students, first through fifth grade. I was placed at different school within the district when they needed extra help, so I got experience with lots of different students and schools.
