February, 23 2017 - Clemson UniversityI assist students with essays, lab reports, and other writing assignments by focusing on grammar, organization, and proper documentation for citations, including MLA, APA, Chicago, and CSE formats. I hope to one day be a teacher, and this job has taught me so much about individual learning processes and various teaching pedagogies.
I helped produce a historical documentary, which included the following tasks: conducting both archival and internet research, writing interview questions, conducting an interview with the president of Winthrop University, writing a script for voice-over, and editing audio and video footage. I was fortunate to work with such a wonderful team of people to create a video for the South Carolina Hall of Fame.
I also worked with a team to film an educational program; my role was research assistant and crew member.
I assist graduate and undergraduate students, and sometimes faculty, with essays, lab reports, theses, proposals, and other writing projects. I hope to empower individuals with the confidence to become better writers and take pride in their work. I consider myself lucky to have this position because I love writing and learn so much from every person I get to work with.
