During the course of the year, I engaged with prospective students in person, over e-mail, or through video chat to talk about life at Colby, the application process, and the academic programs that we offer.
As an Orientation Coordinator, I helped to oversee the logistical and educational aspects of the first-year Welcome Week for the Class of 2023 at Colby College. This position was full time during the summer, and part time during the previous spring (planning and hiring phase) and following fall (assessment phase) semesters.
I work in the Rice Lab, where I study an anticancer agent known as laromustine. My project focuses on the genetic effects of laromustine on various leukemia cell lines.
