Timothy Platko

I hold the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. This organization required me to work independently and on a team to complete a task. I led a team to construct 14 large shelving units for the Lake County Historical Society and the shelves are currently used to store historical artifacts. The project was originally projected to take 3-4 weekends of work. Through my strong leadership skills, we managed to complete the project in just two work days. During the Fall 2014 semester at John Carroll University, I took a course called Management Information Systems, which broadened my skills in Microsoft Office. Two of the projects that I completed involved Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. While working with Access I created 10 queries based on certain criteria. Also, while working with Excel, I created and used 10 pivot tables to obtain necessary information. I completed both projects with 100% accuracy.
