Service Learning

Organic and Biochemistry for Nursing Service Learning Project: I participated in a service learning project to educate Marlington Middle School students about applications of chemistry as they relate to health. Specifically, I presented a chemistry demo called "Reduced Iron In Cereal" and educated students on the health applications of iron and the importance of consuming the recommended daily value of iron in order to maintain good health.
