Ashley Rohrbaugh

Majored in Literary And Textual Studies
York College of Pennsylvania, Class of 2018
From Hanover, PA
I am a recent college graduate at York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literary and Textual Studies. I am fascinated with analyzing literature, but as well I have a passion for writing in general. Since I have this interest in writing, I looked into publication management. This gives contributors the opportunity to help publish a literary magazine and this is when I knew Id want to pursue a career in publishing. I have experience in proofreading, copy-writing, editorial work, web editing, marketing online, research analyst and communication management. I have a passion for each area and I would like to continue pursuing any of these positions in a professional setting.

Collections Department Intern at York County History Center
I write articles for the museum, which are called Eblasts. Eblasts are articles I write for a specific artifact within the museum depending on the theme we chose for that weeks Eblast, or we relate it to the national day/month. The blurb has to be 500 words and my goal is to keep our followers and the community to stay interested. I am the social media editor for the museums Pinterest and Instagram account. This also involves national days/months that would that would relate to the artifact and Id write up a short blurb about this specific artifact.
