Student at Lebanon Valley College majoring in Psychology & Criminal Justice, minoring in Music
I am an avid percussionist, so I will be joining a lot of music ensembles such as the marching band, concert band, and percussion ensemble. I've been marching percussion in my schools' high school marching bands for a total of six years and I haven't had back surgery yet, so that's an accomplishment. My style of writing is absurd, so it's always fun for me to write essays in my own voice. I also have a lovely sense of humor. I am also a huge nerd about the entire newly released Alexander Hamilton Musical.
The words of Aaron Burr in "Hamilton: An American Musical", really speak to me personally as he mentions Hamilton's drive to succeed in "Wait For It" by saying:
"Hamilton faces an endless uphill climb. He has something to prove, he has nothing to lose. Hamilton's pace is relentless, he wastes no time."
Like Burr, I am willing to lie in wait for my shot, but also like Hamilton, when my shot comes around, I will be right there willing to take it.
