Ms. Johnson has dedicated her career path to supporting diversity initiatives including advocating for and the development of minority business enterprises (MBEs) and women business enterprises (WBEs).
In her current role, Alicia works closely with the Group Manager of Multiucltural Business Alliance & Strategy focused on projects and initiatives that help advance Toyotas commitment to the community, vendors and dealers.
Ms. Johnson began her career with Toyota as an Event Coordinator in Supplier Diversity. She was responsible for the planning and execution of all Toyota Supplier Diversity sponsored events for more than 5 regional minority supplier councils. Ms. Johnson coordinated and monitored event timelines, reviewed, managed and analyzed event budgets totaling $1.3M annually. She also assisted in preparing a variety of publications, presentations, and programs for senior management, coordinated team member participation in tradeshows and was the project lead for promotion of activities and special events.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Johnson was Director of Corporate Relations, responsible for identifying and recruiting new corporate and public agency members as well as retaining existing corporate and public agency members for the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council.
Ms. Johnson worked closely with the President of the Council to build innovative branding solutions and expand existing corporate member base to drive growth in both revenue (resources developed) and goodwill. Along with new revenue generation, Ms. Johnson plays a leadership role in ensuring a best-in-class customer service experience for members following the initial engagement.
Ms. Johnson was also the Programs & Events Coordinator with the Ohio River Valley Womens Business Council (ORV~WBC), conducting presentations and interfacing at networking and outreach events. She also developed program materials, i.e. flyers, brochures, e-mail blasts, mailers and other marketing materials, as well as managed updates to all social media outlets and coordinated all e-newsletter activities.
Additional positions held by Ms. Johnson include: Global Expatriate Tax Briefing Coordinator with PricewaterhouseCoopers and various executive administrative positions at Convergys Corporation, GE Aircraft Engines, Blue Chip Broadcasting and TechSoft Systems, Inc.
Originally from Chicago, IL, Ms. Johnson attended Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. and has one son, Samuel Moore.
