June, 04 2020 - Verified by Wofford CollegeI was primarily a member of the landscaping crew. I wheeled and raked topsoil out, as restoration for what National Fuel dug up. I also drove dump trucks full of topsoil or stones, I mowed and weed-killed, I sealed driveways and stamped-patios, I poured and raked concrete, and did property maintenance. I worked 40-50 hour weeks. My hours were Monday - Friday, 7am -5pm.
I took care of the entirety of the golf course. I mowed greens, raked sand-traps, dragged fairways, picked up sticks and leaves, removed trees, and weed-killed. I mostly took care of landscaping duties but also did maintenance inside the club house where I changed garbage cans, cleaned toilets, vacuumed, washed walls and windows, etc. I worked 20 - 30 hours a week all while finishing my senior year of high school from home during quarantine.
I was on the cash register for most of my shifts. It was also my responsibility to clean the dining room and restock. Working upfront on the register also meant that I had to coordinate the meals. Other nights, depending on who we had working, I was on the sandwich station, the fryer, or the drive through.
