My education at University of Arkansas at Little Rock has given me a strong background in Power Systems. I have concentrated on Power and control. For my senior design project, I am working with another undergraduate in using Labview, a GPIB, an optical encoder, and some current and voltage transducers to control a synchronous generator that will improve the power factor of the electrical grid and also allow the user to conduct a number of experiments. This project will enhance my knowledge in Power system, modeling of dynamic systems, control and programming.
