Alexis Springs
I am 16 years of age, and I live in Jacksonville, NC, as well as attending Richlands High. After high school i plan to attend NC State to major in Technical Design Engineering, then become a professor so i can teach other how to make architects in a more greener way. When I am not working on my studies, I am working with extracurricular activities. I am apart of my Beta club, I am the Vice president of my chapter for SkillsUSA along with being a regional officer, I am the treasurer of my FIRST Robotics team at my school, and I was on my school's track and field, and wrestling team. I also help out at an animal sanctuary, by taking care of them, rehabilitating some of them, and even rescuing some of the animals who have been abused, abandoned, and even neglected. I also am a firm believer of my culture, being a descendant of the Native Hawaiians, my family takes it upon themselves to stay with our roots, like performing hula, not to only entertain but t o tell stories with the songs and chants.
