Alijah McGee was recognized for earning a scholarship
After my freshman year of college, I switched from athletic scholarships to academic. I went to college to continue my bowling career, but I didnt return after my first year. As a result of switching, I received plenty of academic scholarships (way more than I was receiving with my athletic scholarship), but I had specific donor who was contributing to my tuition and the grant would be higher each semester and year. I went from receiving $100 in grants from this donor to $1000 to $10,000. This was all a result of my exceptional grades.
