Collaborate with the Assistant Director to complete reports including projections, statistics and reports
Complete testing for our customized online selection tool and Banner Suites upgrades and system changes
Validate reports from the Operational Data Store in support of the Information Systems Manager and the Assistant Director for Housing
Work with the Assistant Director for Housing to develop and implement policy/process changes
Interpret policies and procedures for students and parents as well as de-escalate parent and student concerns in person and by phone
Respond to housing related student and parent concerns and problem solve as directed by policy and established procedure.
Collaborate with other office to resolve housing/financial discrepancies
Manage housing processes such as off-campus, no-show calling, block housing, wait list and commuter application processes to include processing applications and maintaining records.
Respond to inquiries from students, parents, staff and other College constituents regarding wait list status and update the wait lists as appropriate.
Process the necessary paperwork to reassign students to new housing accommodations. Input room changes in Banner Suites.
Coordinate Special Housing Accommodation process for new and returning students with accommodations on file
Prepare training documentation, facilitate and co-facilitate sessions for professional, and para-professional staff and students
Present at Study Away sessions to instruct students on housing selection process
Access the departmental email account and review all incoming inquires and respond to inquiries
Prepare interdepartmental newsletter and informational materials in electronic format to be distributed within the Office of Residential Life and Judicial Affairs.
Provide guidance in developing and maintaining the student worker budget; participate in budget proposal preparation as directed
