Amber Almanza

Hi everyone! My name is Amber, Ive been in the nursing field for over ten years and have worked as an LPN for the past five. I recently made the decision to go back to school to earn my RN, with the long-term goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. Im a proud mom to a beautiful daughter, and outside of work and school, I enjoy reading, writing, painting, and baking. (Fun fact: I actually won first place for my chocolate chip cookies last year!) If I do find time to watch TV, its usually anime or game shows. A personal dream of mine is to travel to Japan one day, and a fun goal Ive set for myself is to learn to speak Japanese. Ive also been living with type 1 diabetes for over 27 years, which has given me a deep appreciation for healthcare and patient support.
