Research Assistant at Georgia State University
I am currently researching with a team for the iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) program at Georgia State University. We are performing RT-PCR and PCR reactions, running gels, performing gel extractions, performing restriction digests, transfecting plasmids, transforming competent cells, and plating colonies to test for successful gene transformation. Overall, we are designing a genetically engineered machine to express our gene of interest by plasmid transformation.
