Founded in 2004, Sonet Lumiere Music Publishing is owned and operated by lyricist and background vocalist, Aneka Myrick. Planning to take the music business by storm, Sonet Lumiere MPC aims to become one of the largest independent music publishing companies. In early 2008, Sonet Lumiere Music Publishing received credit on Flame's new album entilted "Our World Reedemed" for the song It's You ft Robert "Don" Barham which peaked at number five on the Billboard chart March 2008 in the Top Gospel Album category; Flame- Our World Redeemed Album is also being nominated for a 2009 Stellar Award in the Rap/Hip Hop Gospel Album of the Year category. The Dove Award nominee and Cross Movement Records gospel hip-hop artist jumped an amazing 41 chart positions in one week to hit the #1 position in its second week on the CMTA R&B/Hip Hop Chart. We also received credit on Phanatik's album Crime and Consequences for the song North & South featuring Tedashii and Christawn.
