Angel Wells
I have a strong interest in literacy, public speaking and community service. I have been delivering famous speeches since I was 10 years old at events such as the Connecticut State Capitol commemorations, Town of Windsor ceremonies, youth events (school assemblies in Windsor, Bloomfield and Hartford) and Black History Month tribute programs. Previously, my organization, Pages Come to Life, donated 100 books to pediatric patients to comfort the fears of young patients during their overnight hospital stay and encourage them to read. In the future I aim to become a professional writer that focuses on black experiences.
