Hope in the Dark
I founded this club with three friends in 2020 to bring our local community together during COVID and to spread joy through music and art. We put together five virtual showcases that we shared with our local community, hospitals, elder care facilities, and preschools. We then partnered with Stepping Stones Museum for Children for two live showcases with interactive pieces for children. We also created a mural on our school's wall preaching kindness and connection with nature. Now, the other founders and myself have graduated, but our club remains active and productive in the hands of our trained new leaders.

Brien McMahon High School Math Team
I was on the Brien McMahon High School Math Team for three years, where I competed in monthly meets in the Fairfield County Math League and attended weekly practices. This club was an excellent opportunity to improve my confidence and skill in higher-level math.

Fairfield County Children's Choir
I was a member of the Fairfield County Children's Choir (FCCC) for eight years, and was a member of their Chamber Singers for six of those eight years. While I was in the group, I had the opportunity to engage with repertoire such as Bach's St. John Passion and Carmina Burana. I performed at venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, and competed with the Chamber Singers in the 2018 Golden Gate Choral Festival, winning first place in two categories and second place in the other two categories. I was also the lyricist for a piece composed by Robert I. Hugh that FCCC gave its world premiere at Carnegie Hall in May 2022, for which I was the soloist.

Special K
Special K is an a cappella group at Hamilton College. I joined in my first semester of freshman year (which, as of the current writing, is right now), and I am enjoying it very much. So far, I have done repertoire from Hozier, Lake Street Drive, Melt, Phoebe Bridgers, Fleetwood Mac, and others.

ECHO Volunteer/Intern at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk

I operated and designed activities designed to educate children and families about the exhibits of the aquarium, Long Island Sound, marine conservation, plastic pollution/marine debris, and citizen science. I also participated in citizen science projects like beach clean-ups and BioBlitzes to help scientists keep track of data on species diversity and marine debris. After a year of volunteering, I became a peer mentor and supervisor to other teens in the program. In May of 2023, I became an intern and organized, collected data, and designed activities for the summer ECHO season. I also did research on environmental justice initiatives like sustainable packaging as well as chemistry-related research into fireworks and plastic polymers.
