I will complete my Doctor of Nursing Practice - Educational Leadership at Regis College, graduation 2023. I hold a Master of Science Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education. I currently hold the position of Dean of Nursing for Spartanburg Community College School of Nursing. I have previous experience serving at a private college as the Clinical Director of Nursing and as an Assistant Professor of Nursing prior to becoming the Director of Faculty Development and Assessment. I holds an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Southwestern Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Science in Nurse Education from UNC-Wilmington, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Educational Leadership from Regis College. I holds numerous accolades, including a nomination for the 2020 Teaching in Excellence Award at Haywood Community College, the 2019 Nurse Blake Professor of the Year Award and Named an Honorary Faculty Member of the National Honor Society Alpha Beta Kappa South College 2022, a member of the Honor Society of Nursing Sigma Theta Tau International, and a member of Honor Society for Colleges.
