Anthony Weise

Ever since I was little, I always knew that I wanted to become a chemical engineer. Since I was a child, I knew I wanted to pursue a path that would allow me to affect the environment in a positive way. Because of this, I believe that by becoming a chemical engineer, I would be a part of developing a greener future. After testing the waters in numerous fields of engineering, I settled on process control engineering with new goals in mind. I see an ever adapting and advancing technological growth in our hands. I believe that by becoming a process control engineer, I will be part of the forefront of this revolution. As part of process control engineering, you must be able to understand and run the inner workings of advance automotive processes. I believe that this field along with personal growth in programming will allow me to achieve my new goals. I am a junior at Miami University pursuing this undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering as well as minors in Paper Engineering and Process Control. As an individual, I am hardworking, creative, determined, and organized. Additionally, I am experienced in leadership positions from my time serving as the Regional Liaison of the Executive Student Committee for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, as Recruitment Chair for the Miami University AIChE Student Branch, as well as the Recruitment Chair for Scuba Diving/Snorkel Club of Miami University . In my free time, I enjoy volunteering for the animal shelter, rock climbing, and video development. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
