I am a third-year student at the University of Georgia pursuing a Bachelors (B.S) Degree in Psychology. I am heavily involved in multiple organizations including Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society and Abeneefuo Kuo Honors Society. I am also a member of the University of Georgias Honors Program and serve as a mentor for the Peer Assisted Leadership Program and Black Educational Support Team. I have also served on Event Planning Committee for Shop With a Bulldawg, a non-profit that brings Holiday cheer to over 600 underprivileged children in the Athens area. I am currently an Assistantship awardee under the Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities (CURO). I am in the midst of conducted a research study focusing on Trait Activation Theory and the relationship between personality and job performance.

The University of Georgia is a research institution. UGA encourages students to further research in a number of different areas. Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities (CURO) is a program at the University of Georgia devoted to introducing students to research opportunities. CURO research assistants oversee and conduct their own research studies.
Roles as a Student Research Assistant:
Conducting a research study on Trait Activation Theory under the direction of Dr. Nathan Carter
Drafting and submitting a research proposal to be approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Creating a survey measuring personality to be administered to participants
Collecting and analyzing data to present findings at the annual CURO Symposium
