Ashley King

Born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, I am a true Appalachian girl. I attended and graduated from Virginia Western Community College in 2016 with an Associates in Fine Arts, I took an extended break from college to travel and see the world. During that time I became the head director for the colorguard at Bassett High School in Virginia. There is where I met my fianc, Matthew, and my soon to be 6 year old step son, Noam. I relocated to Bassett and decided to continue my degree at Hollins in 2020. I want to continue to develop my artistic abilities and help students discover their own creative abilities.
