Azzah Nasraddin

I am a fourth-year honors student at the University of Iowa majoring in social work, triple minoring in global health, psychology, and Arabic with a certificate in critical cultural competency. I have gained an extensive understanding of non-profit work and helper roles through my social work and critical cultural competency curriculum.In addition to my previous work and volunteer experiences, I have held many leadership roles during my time at the university; managing committees, student volunteers, and organization finances. I love working with people and believe in the importance of human relationships. Throughout all my internships and former work and volunteer experiences, I have demonstrated a deep commitment and service to clients built within a framework of integrity and professionalism. I am passionate about social justice, reducing health disparities, empowering communities and ultimately doing meaningful work.
