Beverly Russo

I am a senior citizen who has attempted to complete my studies over the years. There has been many family health interruptions in going forward.

One of the barriers was my own self esteem. I was dyslexic as a child and received a great deal of ridicule. In the 50's people did not realize that "dyslexia" was a learning disability that many possess. In fact, Einstein and many world notables are dyslexic.

With every achievement in my lifetime and there have been many, I earned and developed healthy self esteem. I am a happy and optimistic individual and always manage to create rainbows. After all, I created two happy and successful children who possess my drive and determination.

At this stage of my life, I feel I can accomplish anything. Hence, I am back in school and am determined to wear a cap and gown at my own graduation in the near future.
