Responsibilities: - Administering the safety management system to ensure a safe work environment - Assisting in improvements in safety metrics including coordination of programs to prevent incidents - Learning the safety practices and principles of a manufacturing environment - Preparing to deliver a formal presentation to leadership at the end of the internship Projects: - Successfully prep and complete two OSHA Sharp Renewals - Convert MSDS to SDS - Input training records using CEBOS software - Update LO/TO - Assist in plant wide safety skill blocks documentation - Develop corrective action log among three facilities - Update CSE labeling and procedures - Assist in fork truck training audit - complete annual machine/saw audits
