Being born and raised on a family farm I am extremely passionate about the agriculture industry. I have helped on the farm all of my life. In high school I was heavily involved in FFA, and continue to be involved at the collegiate level as Western Illinois University's CFFA Treasurer. I first attended Black Hawk College East, and was Vice President of our Phi Theta Kappa chapter and graduated summa cum laude with my Associates in Science degree. I then transferred to Western Illinois University to pursue an agriculture education degree. I've been so blessed to be touched by the benefits the agriculture industry can have on people, and I plan to pay it back by teaching the youth all it has to offer.
