Founder and CEO at Women Veteran Social Justice Network

The mission of Women Veteran Social Justice is to Identify, Connect, and Empower Women Veterans through social, professional and personal connections utilizing electronic and live networking across communities, states and the world. Technology and collaboration have been tools to firmly anchor and connect an otherwise invisible nation of women who have served with those who are serving and those who are preparing to serve in the military.

Our organization recognizes the challenges and barriers faced by today's women military personnel and veteran women. We also recognize the tremendous success we experience as well. It is our intention to stand as a call to action, to eliminate "reintegration problems" and "disrespect" so they are unnecessary words in our community.

In our online peer supportive services, we incorporate the following information materials and topics:

Managing financial risks of serving

Military Transition Life Skills

Navigating through the VA system

Personal Advocacy Skills

Community exploration and engagement

Tech enabled service learning

Educate women veterans on

entrepreneurship and business enrichment opportunities; including workforce development.

Unite federal, state, and community nonprofit organizations to ensure that every veteran regardless of sex and gender is receiving the care and resources earned through their selfless service

Special Areas of Consideration:

Equal access to VA care and services for women veterans

Military Sexual Trauma (MST) policy changes and services, VA services and education

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Suicide Prevention and Family Education

Alternative therapeutic health modalities (such as Healing Arts Programs)
