Brian Wisneski

I teach Physical Security, Security Law, Security Management, and Corporate Security Investigations at SRU. I currently serve as Director, Global Security with Pfizer Inc. My current role focuses on physical risk mitigation and security technology globally. Over a 30+ year security career, I have worked in executive protection, investigations, supply chain, R&D, and manufacturing security roles. When you do the job long enough, you are lucky enough to get experience across the spectrum of corporate security work! I received an EdD from Creighton University, a Masters degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Boston University, a Bachelors degree in Management from Spring Arbor University, and an Associates degree in Corrections from Jackson College (MI). In 2014, I completed the Senior Senior Executive Series at Northwestern University and I've held a Certified Protection Professional designation from ASIS International continuously for almost 20 years. I pride myself on being a lifelong learner, having gained a diploma or degree in every decade of my life. From the construction paper Kindergarten diploma I received at age 5 to a doctorate in my early 50s, I enjoy learning for learning's sake. Law school in my 70s is under review my my wife. I live in Grand Rapids, MI and all of my classes are virtual. My colleagues, Dr. Diesel and Dr. Daisy (two maltipoo pups) assist me in this effort.
