Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit Collaborates with registered nurses on developing a patient's care plan and reports all patient activity in a timely manner. Develops and maintains competencies as delegated by a registered nurse, including sterile dressing changes. Maintains the safety of patients who have been identified at risk for preventable injury by the implementation of nursing safety interventions or the use of protective devices/equipment under the supervision of the registered nurse.

Work in laboratory setting on experimental projects centered on Photodynamic Chemotherapy, synthesis and analysis of compounds. Design and run moderately complex experiments specific to the biochemical properties of compounds. Train new team members in experimental design process and personal projects. Typically working with 1-2 new members at a time. However, this varies by semester. Collaborate with other focused groups within the research team on their varying projects as well as connecting those to my personal projects. Currently the team is divided into Chemistry, Biology and Biochemistry groups.
