Brianna Westland

A mezzo soprano who recently participated in a three month Italian Immersion Program in Montepulciano, Italy, Brianna Westland has a passion and talent for vocal performance and international affairs. Ms. Westland is currently attending Kennesaw State University, where she is earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music and Minor in Italian Studies. She is currently studying voice with soprano Jana Young. Ms. Westland has had the honor of being featured on both local and national media in several televised performances, including a solo performance in the 2011 Shuler Hensley Awards and a choral performance at the 57th Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama in 2013. She is an active performer, participating in choral concerts, opera theatre productions, musical theatre performances, and vocal recitals. Ms. Westland is passionate about vocal performance and collaborating with other musical artists. She desires to teach music and develop the talent and confidence of young musicians. In the future, she hopes to develop international partnerships for music study abroad programs.
